The Licence to operate the National Lottery requires the Operator to have specific Codes of Practice; Sales, Participants, Advertising and Promotion Procedures.
Each Code is reviewed annually by the Operator. Any changes must be approved for use by the Regulator. In this way, new standards have been inserted into the Codes over time, adding to the protections in place for players and the public.
